Mohenjo-Daro History.

 Mohenjo-daro was an ancient city located in the province of Sindh in present-day Pakistan. It was one of the largest cities of the Indus Valley Civilization, which existed from around 2600 BCE to 1900 BCE. The city was rediscovered in the 1920s and has been extensively excavated by archaeologists since then. The Indus Valley Civilization was known for its advanced urban planning and infrastructure, and Mohenjo-daro was no exception. The city was laid out on a grid pattern, with streets and buildings aligned to the cardinal directions. The city had a sophisticated drainage system, with brick-lined sewers that carried wastewater out of the city. Mohenjo-daro was also a center of trade, with evidence of trade networks extending as far as Mesopotamia and the Persian Gulf.
